Family Connections
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Family Connections lets you embrace your inner detective to uncover and solve an ongoing family drama. With the use of an interactive pinboard, gather clues by talking with your distant older cousin Cain, his cutesy younger sister Mitzie, and your snobbish Aunt J.
Find out what fits, what contradicts, and ultimately make Cain reveal his secret in this short visual novel!
How to use the pinboard:
NOTE: if you get stuck but still want to reach the end, take a look at the last screenshot on the page, it displays all the correct note connections!
Your goal is to connect notes gathered from dialogue using 2 types of connections: two pieces of information can either support or contradict each other.
- Use Left click to drag notes around the board
- Hover over notes and click the buttons that appear to create connections
- Right click anywhere on the board to cancel the new connection
- or Right click an existing connection to remove it
- Use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out
- Use Middle click and drag to pan around the board (when zoomed in)
